Marathon Update 23 March 2007
As I write there are 29 days, 23 hours and 32 minutes to the start, not that I am worried!
Sponsorship is heading towards £4,000 and thank you to everyone for your tremendous support.
Should you be looking out for me on the day my running number is 45684 and I shall be wearing a white top, with black shorts and if you manage to spot me, it will be a blooming miracle.
I am now getting over my second wave of illness and if I can get a clear run in from here, I would like to think a time at or around 4 hours is a possibility. Eight years ago I did a very respectable Gazelle-like 3 hours, 39 minutes and 59 seconds. My resemblance to a Gazelle has changed over recent years to one with a limp and in need of an inhaler from time to time.
